Description
The Bratai Bridge is built on the Shushica River, in its 'Upper' valley. It is a three-vaulted stone bridge with a flat head.
In the center, there is a large arch, and on either side there are two smaller arches, supported by the monolithic mass of the rock. The arches are built with double arches, where the upper one protrudes slightly in the form of a dentition. It is the largest bridge of the Ottoman period in the course of the river Shushica, about 50 m long, 4 m wide and reaches up to 12 m in height. Its monumentality lies in the harmonization of the architectural elements with the landscape and the rocky terrain on which it is built.
